No Company Including Alibaba Is “Too Big To Fail “Jack Ma Told Regulators


Jack Ma, Chairman of Alibaba Holding Group, told government of China that the “company is not too big to fail” as he guaranteed the federal regulators that he was addressing corruption allegations on its online e-commerce website.
According to his Beijing speech transcript during CSR commission he said, as Alibaba grows in size it should focus to monitor the behavior of employee. He further said, “Alibaba absolutely isn’t the company that is too big to fail, big companies failed in China like Politburo members, standing members. No company can say it’s too big to fail … that’s rubbish.”
Since the State Administration for Industry & Commerce had issued a White Paper against Alibaba reproving its online mall business of taking bribes, and selling counterfeit, fake products and peddling knock-offs. Alibaba was founded 15 years ago in its chairman Ma’s apartment, faced many mistakes and errors in the country, which was run by communist party.
Jack Ma also said on his visit to CSRC that the China’s state run banks should not fear from the services being offered by Alibaba financial firm Zhejiang Ant Small and Micro Financial Service Group.
Alibaba want honest and trustworthy businessmen to become wealthy, Ma Said as exactly mentioned in the transcript. “Only if we do this, can our company complement the finance industry, and not compete with them”.

Jack Ma elaborated the company goals and objectives to the Chinese government regulators. He talked about Yu’E Bao, an online market fund of its affiliate. He also told regulators about credit scoring system of financial group companies and Zhejiang Ant Small.
Earlier this January, according to Shanghai Securities news, Alibaba Holdings was interested in making an investment in New China Life Insurance Company Ltd., which valued nearly $24 billion. The company is also looking to obtain a stake in Insurance Company by acquiring some shares from New China’s largest shareholder, Central Huijin Investment Ltd.
Alibaba Holdings is also looking for initial public offering (IPO) of its financial firm Zhejiang Ant Small, the owner of Alipay, that is valued at approximately $50 billion.
Alibaba Group Holding share price have fallen 16% in New York stock exchange this year.
Alibaba Holding Group Ltd (NYSE:BABA) stock is down by 1.44%, trading at $86 as of 4:30 pm EST on Thursday, with 30-days average volume of 17.53 million shares. The company has a market capitalization of $215.81 billion and price to earnings ratio of 47.66.

Alibaba has the potential to dominate the United States market



Alibaba is one of the most fast growing businesses in the world. Recently the company has emerged to be one of the top names in the industry after becoming the giants of e-commerce industry as well as the company has largest B2B business in the world. The company has surpassed as well as broke its own records. Alibaba has had great success over the past years which have bolstered its domestic and international status and position. It is believed that the Chinese giant and powerhouse, Alibaba, will be huge by 2020.
In recent times, BABA Group is looking forward and working hard to spread its operations in the US market as well. Hence, the retailers of United States warn of Chinese giant Alibaba's impact in U.S. market. Reuters reported that “Several of the largest U.S. retailers warned that Alibaba Group Holding Inc may "decimate" local companies unless Congress closes tax loopholes for online retailers, singling out the Chinese company before it has even established a major American consumer presence.”
Alibaba presently sells to American consumers through its global retail service AliExpress. But its core Taobao service, often likened to eBay's marketplace, is not yet available to U.S. customers in English.
The company is looking forward to start its services which will solely be targeted to American consumers. It is believed that an entry in the US market might decimate the local companies as the e-commerce giant Alibaba’s business is huge as anything. In the coming times, it is believed Alibaba will become as huge as Wal-Mart and EBay in terms of international market presence.

Alibaba is bigger than EBay



Jack Ma is known as China’s richest man and the founder of the most popular Chinese company, Alibaba. Jack Ma believes that Alibaba is the biggest entertainment company in the world. He said that consumers are now looking for entertainment rather than buying online through that site. Alibaba started its business journey as an e-tailer. In the longer run, Jack Ma believes that because of the largest Chinese population, Alibaba will be a vital business market to invest on. The founder of the company believes that Alibaba has and will surpass companies like EBay, Amazon, and Wal-Mart in the near future.
Apart from the B2B business industry, Jack Ma is currently residing in Southern California and is engaged in learning from Hollywood. His most important mission nowadays is to make the executives of entertainment industry understand that China will be the most important film market in the world because of its massive population's growing middle class.
Jack Ma says, “The key difference between American and Chinese movies, chiefly, that in American movies the protagonist never looks like a hero at the start but turns into one by the end. In Chinese movies, on the other hand, I’ve never seen a hero who didn’t die.” Not only this, but Jack Ma is also interested in bringing American companies to China whether in collaboration or on solely purpose. In WSJ.D Live conference in Laguna Beach, he was asked if he is interested in acquiring or purchasing companies such as EBay. He replied “Would you sell it?... There are so many good things in the world. I want to buy Google, I want to buy Apple, but I can't. Let them be good.”
Jack Ma is a sensible businessman and this trait is the reason of founding and operating which is probably the biggest company in the world, Alibaba.

Alibaba To Launch International Taobao



Alibaba is one of the fastest growing businesses in the world. The company is also the largest B2B business company in the world. Moreover, it has achieved so much in a short span of time that it is known as the Google of China. The business of Alibaba is massive and they take on every single opportunity in their way. This is the reason as to why over 120 million people shop on Alibaba sites every day. It is known that Alibaba owns and operates its three main business sites which are Taobao.com, Tmall.com and Alibaba.com. These sites are the version of EBay for the booming Chinese market.
Reuters reported that Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma said Thursday the company plans to create an international version of its online marketplace Taobao. The plan is to serve shoppers worldwide and be available in multiple languages, including English. However it is still not known that when will the international launch will take place. After raising a record breaking $21.8 billion in US initial public offering (IPO), something like this was expected from company’s side. Hence, expansion plans of BABA are no surprise to the ana
lysts.
Talking about the IPO of the company, Alibaba has taken Wall Street by storm by posting record breaking IPO. Hence it further planned to mark its presence in other markets. Therefore, Alibaba taps Taobao for international expansion. Jack Ma has said that the consumer-to-consumer marketplace will be available worldwide in multiple languages. According to the company, it is believed that “Taobao is a crucial component in Alibaba's operation. Launched in 2003 in China, Taobao is a consumer-to-consumer marketplace similar to eBay -- the site actually managed to push eBay out of business in China.”
In the end, the international expansion plans for Taobao will prove to be beneficial for the company as it will open the doors of international market for the company in the future.
